RIAA Changes Its Ways

The RIAA has announced that is finally stopping the ridiculous and useless lawsuits that they’ve been using to attack file-sharers for the last few years, though they still reserve the right to sue those that they find the most egregious villains. Sounds good, right? Instead though, they’ve decided to place the burden on unnamed ISPs. They will report people who seem to be file-sharing to the ISPs. The ISPs will be expected to send threatening letters, and throttle Internet access for the offenders. If the warnings don’t work, they can take away your Internet service. Still ugly, right?
